When the laser irradiates the metal workpiece surface, the material quickly absorbs laser energy and melts instantly, forming a small and deep molten pool under the keyhole effect. As the laser head moves, the molten metal cools and solidifies rapidly, forming a firm, dense and high-strength metallurgical weld, realizing non-contact, high-precision and high-efficiency metal welding.

1.Common Welding Defects & Solutions
1.Spatter:
Cause: Excessive laser power, unclean workpiece surface, improper focus position.
Solution: Adjust laser power reasonably, clean oil stains and rust on workpiece surface, calibrate laser focus.
2.Porosity:
Cause: Material with moisture/impurities, insufficient shielding gas, fast cooling speed.
Solution: Dry and clean materials before welding, ensure sufficient high-purity shielding gas, slow down cooling rate.
3.Incomplete Penetration
Cause: Insufficient laser power, too fast welding speed, focus deviation.
Solution: Increase laser power properly, reduce welding speed, adjust laser focus to the welding area.
4.Undercut
Cause: Excessive laser energy, unreasonable welding speed, improper welding angle.
Solution: Reduce laser energy density, adjust suitable welding speed, optimize welding head angle.
5.Welding Deformation
Cause: Excessive heat input, no fixture fixing, thin workpiece.
Solution: Adopt pulse welding mode, fix workpiece with special fixture, control heat input.
